Float glass is the most popular type of glass. It has a perfectly smooth surface without optical distortion. It is transparent but has a slightly greenish or blueish hue that is particularly visible on the edges of the glass, with the thicker the edge of the glass, the more saturated the glass. Float glass is used both indoors and outdoors. It is subject to all types of machining.
